Social Consulting Leader IBM - Keynote Speaker, Motivational Speaker & Moderator
Management Consulting | London, United Kingdom, GB
Since returning to London from NYC I have defiantly pivoted my career. Developing an interest in Social Media as a way of communicating globally and initially getting news faster that any other broadcast medium. In 2007 and the birth of Twitter I could see that 'Digital & Social' was going to become part of the fabric of our lives and change the way we communicate and do business.
The platforms I work with were fledglings or forming 10 years ago and the job at IBM I now do didn't exist 2 years ago. We HAVE to be agile and adaptable in this new working landscape and I hope to enable others to navigate through these seismic changes.
( I walk the walk, not just talk the talk )
Prior to going back to University in New York to study for my Architectural Design degree in 1996, I worked mainly in Marketing, PR & Advertising. Main areas of expertise were new business development, company start-ups, brand & identity. These were mostly large corporate projects - eg: Barclaycard, Hilton Hotels, F1.
From September 2001 to November 2003 I spent timeout recovering from injuries sustained in the attacks on the WTC NYC on September 11th.
